Our Story

TRAVASIP was born out of something every travelling parent knows all too well — that gut-wrenching worry when you're on a hard-earned family holiday and all you can think is: please don't drink the tap water.

I'm a mum of two, auntie to two nephews and a niece, and our family has been travelling to Bali since my kids were little. Every single trip, the same conversation: don't drink the water, don't use the tap, be careful. And every single trip, the same panic in the back of my mind. You save up for a well-earned holiday — sometimes $10,000 or more — and the last thing you want is a sick child, a doctor's visit, or a hospital run when you should be out there living it up.

Fast forward to my son finishing Year 12. Schoolies was happening — and I could no longer bubble wrap him. Then my other adult child decided she was booking too. Full mum mode: activated.

And here's the thing — it's not just the kids you have to worry about. Even us adults slip up. Hubby on autopilot, a tired mum running on empty — when you're so used to the tap being perfectly safe at home, accidents happen. You reach for the tap without even thinking. It's muscle memory. And that's exactly when things can go wrong on a trip.

I couldn't be there to remind them. I couldn't follow them around. But I could give them something that would do it for me.

That's how TRAVASIP was born — a visual reminder for my kiddos (and yours, and honestly your hubby too — you know who you are 😄) to not use the tap for anything other than washing their hands. Simple. Practical. And born from a place of pure love.
